Congress Core Group met on Friday
in the capital and discussed various issues including the demand for a
seperate Telangana state while the meeting was attended by Congress
President Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other leaders.
Earlier Congress leader and in charge of Andhra Pradesh Ghulam Nabi
Azad submitted a report on Telangana issue to Congress President Sonia
Gandhi.
He had held a series of talks with leaders of the state in past few
months both from pro -Telangana and anti -Telangana factions.
A 22 member team led by TRS leader K Chandrashekhar Rao is also
reaching New Delhi later this night to talk to the political leadership
in the capital.
Meanwhile, normal life disrupted in Hyderabad due to the day long
bandh called by Telangana political joint action committee for
intensifying the 'Sakala Janula Samme' general strike for the cause of
seperate Telangana state, which had entered the 18th day today.
Culturally, emotionally and ethically HYD doesn't fit into telangana. I hear people talking about affluent hyderabad in 50's.
ReplyDeleteI feel all this is trash and personal propaganda. The fact is that due to the constant improvements from 70's slowly and eventually Hyderabad has evolved to where it is now.
It has benefited from outsiders from all over India, other wise there wouldn't have been so much revenue and hence the jobs and income.
If telangana is given HYD cannot be internal part as the hyderabadi's are totally different to other parts of telangana.
It could be capital for telangana for all administrative purposes but it would be difficult for any one established in HYD to hail in Telangana.
That is extremely useful for expanding my insight in this field. News 24 hours
